In the beginning...

Have you ever wondered, "Can I publish something on the Internet?" Have you ever thought that what you have to say might be so important that millions of people should hear about it? Have you ever thought, "I'd like to be able to get my thoughts down on cyberpaper, but I just don't know how?"

This is your chance to shine. Or flicker. Or fade. But hopefully, shine.

This blog (web log) is designed to be a forum for you and students like you to be able to express your thoughts and responses to topics we discuss in class and things you'd like to discuss in class but haven't had the chance.

Flatter me and I may not believe you.
Criticize me, and I may not like you.
Ignore me, and I may not forgive you.
Encourage me, and I will never

Why is it that there are people in the world that like to point out everyone's mistakes but almost never look at their own? Then again why don't we listen to the people that do look at their own mistakes and are trying to help us out with ours?

Why is the world so corrupted that we as humans don't care nearly as much as we should? In todays society most of us don't watch our mouths. We cuss, we put- down, we, as a society, don't care who we hurt or why, it can be something stupid or what may seem important to you, but the truth is we don't need to do any of that. As I walk down the halls in the high school I hear cussing with every other word. It makes me so sad when I hear it too. You would think that we have a bigger vocabulary than that, but I guess we don't. Why do teenagers cuss? Is it so they can impress their friends? Is it so they can feel special, above everyone around them? The truth is that when everyone starts cussing then it is no longer special. The only thing that is special is people that don't cuss. They are the people that we look at now.

I this this means that Encouragment is the most meaningful thing and with it you can accomplish so much more, and encouragment means so much to people and cant be taken wrong, or be meant bad.
